All,
This Sunday 16 Oct between 1000 and 1400L (0900-1300Z) is the 50MHz
Affiliated Societies contest. Every member of the club who takes part and
submits a log will contribute to the overall club score.
The rules can be found here
http://www.rsgbcc.org/cgi-bin/contes...=2nd50MHz&seq=
The contest exchange comprises a signal report, serial number, locator and
for UK stations the first two letters of your postcode.
Id recommend the MINOS logging software as its optimised for contest
exchanges and produces the entry ready for upload to the RSGB contest
website.
MINOS can be downloaded here
http://minos.sourceforge.net/
and to enter the contest upload your entry (edi file) here
http://www.rsgbcc.org/cgi-bin/vhfenter.pl
If anybody fancies having a go and has any questions drop me a line at
Oh and dont worry about getting anything wrong with the entry as Im also
adjudicating!
Hope to work you in the contest
