Hello,



I have a great old Paragon that has developed an intermittent problem that
shows up on receive and, Im told, transmit. On 40 meters, the receive audio
will intermittently start breaking up as the S meter jumps up and down. Its
a bit like someone cutting the AGC in-and-out at a rate of about 2 times
per second. This results in extremely garbled audio. Im told that this is
what the transmitted signal sounds like when things are acting up. The
problem tends to go away as the rig...
