IC-706mkII No CW Out

Ive got an IC-706mk2 which until recently was able to transmit CW.



Now it has two problems:



1) SWR meter not functional (always reads 1:1)

2) When in CW mode and key is pressed, radio remains in RX mode and I hear
sidetone faintly added to the audio from the receiver.



AM and SSB modes seem to work OK on transmit.



I have tried a CPU reset to no avail.



Any idea what could cause this?
