W3J - The 127th Anniversary of The Johnstown Flood

The W3J special event station will be on the air on May 31st, the Tuesday
after Memorial Day, from the Johnstown Flood National Memorial (NM14) in
South Fork, PA. We will be operating from the Park Unit which counts for
NPOTA and we will be uploading the activation to LOTW.



We will be operating 2 100w stations, one CW and one SSB. Our primary bands
will be 20 and 40 meters. If 15 is open we may move down to it, and if we
can manage an 80m antenna will may attempt that as well. But most of...

W6RO – The Nate Brightman Wireless Room aboard the Queen Mary – will
commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Queen Mary’s maiden voyage with a
‘round-the-clock on air operating event. May 27th 1500z thru May 30th 0200z.



Frequencies, on or about:



80M 3539 CW, 3860 SSB;

40M 7039 CW, 7260 SSB;

20M 14039 CW, 14260 SSB;

15M 21039 CW, 21360 SSB;

10M 28039 CW, 28360 SSB;

2M 145.510 FM, simplex.

These are the same frequencies that will be used for Museum Ships...
