The 10 school contacts with Tim Peake on the ISS have inspired thousands of
young people, introducing them to STEM skills and amateur radio in a new

George was a founding member of the Lothians Radio Society in 1946 and its
second President in 1947-48.Â*He was the clubs RSGB representative for many
years. George died in a care home in Edinburgh where he had lived for some
