Police request help from the ARRL in RFI incident

In a bizarre RFI incident in PA, Evanston, Illinois, Police contacted the
ARRL Lab, after an apparent interference source began plaguing wireless
vehicle key fobs, cell phones, and other wireless electronics...

Ham Radio Deluxe News: Ham Radio Deluxe Version 6.3.0.563

HRD Software, LLC announces the release of Version 6.3.0.563 as a
maintenance release. Everyone that has purchased HRD since February 2012
will get the fixes at no charge. This is a fix only version with no new
features.



The fixes include:



· fix for split off on spot on some machines when using VFO B and TX-B LB

· set correct bitmap for "various" toolbar on RC RC

· code changes for Orion ii DM, LB

· Fix WSI refresh on cluster. LB

· Update only matching entries in Cluster for a...

Last Icom IC-7200 Auctioned off for Charity

The last Icom IC-7200 known to exist at an USA Icom authorized dealer was
auctioned off today on eBay. After being discontinued in late 2015, just a
few months ago, GigaParts sold the last of these ultra-rugged portable HF
rigs. But there was one radio held back for something special. There were
several ideas tossed around: Sweepstakes prize, time capsule, next episode
of “Will It Blend.” In the end, a charity auction seemed like the best idea.
