Hey everybody in this episode we talk with a friend of mine, Allison
Hollier, about her view of amateur radio from a YLs perspective.
Amateur radio has always been a male dominated hobby, however, the YLs are
starting to join in and their numbers are growing.
In the Amateur Radio Club Spotlight for this episode we talk about the YL
Relay League.

W3TTW turning 100 years old this month and still active on 40M CW!

A good radio friend of mine will be 100 years old in August. He is still
active on 40M CW and is still very sharp. His name is Woody and his call is
W3TTW.
Due to his achievement of making it with a very good quality of life,
Martha and I are holding a special birthday picnic for all his radio
friends. So far, we have about 35 people that will attend. I decided it
would be nice to set up a station outside and kind of make it a special
event station to celebrate his achievement. The picnic...
