Anniversary with the operation of the special event callsign GB40PR at
various locations in Poole and South-East Dorset

Down VK7 way they seemed to be having difficulties with the CB Repeater
LNC-2, which is operated by NTARC Inc. from the Mt Arthur repeater site,
including the very strong possibility that it might need soon to be
replaced to restore reliability

The Scout Jamboree on the Air, JOTA, takes place next weekend 15th and 16th
October. Scouting Ireland and IRTS are making a special effort to increase
activity and a number of radio clubs and individual operators have already
indicated their intention to take part

Irish Amateur Station Licence Examination

December in the ComReg Offices in Dublin and at other centres if warranted
by the numbers

The Shepparton and District Amateur Radio Club Communications Day HamFest
held recently had Amateur Radio Victoria represented by its Secretary Ross
Pittard VK3CE. He took the opportunity to speak with radio amateurs from
around the area that attended the successful event
