Hey folks,



This is Jason, Kc5HWB, with Ham Radio 2.0. Last year I traveled to Costa
Rica with the NETARC Club from the North Texas area, for DXpedition. We
operated just outside of Liberia, Grid Square EK70JQ. This year we are
returning to the same location.



It was quite a fun trip last year, and we are looking forward to the CQ WW
SSB contest that is happening the 29th-30th....

Hawaiian Islands Grid Madness 2016 (Simplex Contest)

This year’s Grid Madness was held on September 18, 2016 and was a larger
event than 2015. The event had double the logs submitted and 23 more
stations participated this year with over 150 more contacts reported than
2015 and almost 200 more than 2014. This has proven to be a popular event
in the islands.



Grid Madness is about islands, mountains, ocean, and radio signals. Its a
simple event; we designate a time, frequencies and some rules. Amateur
