Gold Coast Amateur Radio Society Hosts Hamfest at Broadbeach:

One man's trash is another man's treasure and for 25 years the Gold Coast
Amateur Radio Society has been cashing in on this. Today's electronics flea
market Hamfest will be held from 8.30am at the Albert Waterways Community
Centre on the corner of Hooker and Sunshine Blvds, Broadbeach (opposite
Pacific Fair). The not-for-profit club's event is its biggest fundraiser of
the year with 42 tables of gear on sale, including old amateur radios,
electronics, computers and tape gear.
