Best antenna for 6m I can hide in my attic

little short with me about the other antennas for my 2m/220/440 radios.

Hi there all, I posted about this antenna a while ago about raising the
height slightly to improve performance. I have this set up as a sloper
about 14ft high sloping down to about 6ft at the low end. This antenna is
130ft long. My question is what angle do I have this at? I was told its at
a too high an angle for dx and most of my power is shooting up too high for
DX. If I lowered the 14ft height I would be lowering my take off angle, so
whatever the best angle is then so how high should my...

Been using $15 fiberglas fishing poles with #14 wire taped to them and
4 qtr wave radials to build monoband GP antennas for some years now. Am
on 10, 17, 30, and 40 m that way working/chasing DX, with excellent
results.



I then added a second 40m GP spaced 1/4 wave and a relay per ON4UN,
to give me fat cardioid lobes NE or SW with even better success on 40m.



Now, with the current sunspot cycle winding down I decided to do the same
thing for 20m, only this time using...

Vibrating ropes

Ive got this 50 rope up to a tree just outside the bedroom, it goes over a
tree branch and the other end comes down to a 15 lb rock. I keep it tied
off to the deck railing, and it always tightens up with the branch swaying
and all even though Ive got the rope going over the branch with a piece of
irrigation tubing. When it gets tight, it starts singing like crazy in the
wind. Ive tried tying it in places to a close by pipe, but all that does is
change where it vibrates from. How do I...

ASL-2010 Cushcraft issue

My swr jumped to 3 on 20 meters but is perfect on all other bands but I
cant use my amp now even on the bands its 1:1 on without getting RF back in
the Shack. So my feedline has an issue or maybe the matching network box on
the antenna ? Anyone ever had this issue with this antenna ?
