AGM Update

At Verulam ARC’s AGM in February 2017 it was all change for the club’s
leadership.

After three years sterling service, David Thomas (G4HHJ) handed over the
chairmanship to Alex Rowley (M0UKR) and Greg Beacher (M0PPG) took over the
post of club secretary from Peter Baker (G4HSO).

Both David and Peter will remain as members of the committee. Norman Fisher
(G8ATO) remains as club treasurer.

As his last act, David, presented the Chairman’s Award for outstanding
service, to Greg (pictured left). Â*This was in recognition for all of
Greg’s efforts which included helping to train pupils at Sandringham School
to pass their Foundation Licence in time for the schools historic contact
with Tim Peake aboard the ISS.
