New Membership Offer - hurry!
Last year we announced the offer of free IRTS membership for a year to
anyone who has been issued with a new EI personal licence since 1st
January 2016. This offer expires on Friday next, 31st March, so there
are just a few more days to avail of this opportunity to become a
member of the national society for free. The "Join Us!" page on the
society's web site at
www.irts.ie/join has the details.

Publications Library
A few weeks ago we announced the launch of the IRTS Publications
Library at
www.irts.ie/library which includes scanned copies of IRTS
publications up to the year 2000. Bill EI9FK has supplied a batch of
newsletters from the 1980s, providing lots of additional historical
material for the library. We have also included the "IRTS Amateur Radio
Yearbook 1986-87": in the pre-web site era, this Yearbook was a key
source of information about the society, its activities and affiliated
clubs. The big gap in the library is now the 1970s; Séamus EI8BP or Joe
EI7GY would like to hear from anyone with newsletters or other IRTS
publications from the missing years.
