IMHO, "Godwin's Law" is a bunch of bunk. There ARE (occasional) times
when a comparison to a historical figure (yes, even Hitler) is

Analogy: For whatever reason, people *love* Trump now, falling all over

Germany in 1945 Youtube ...I have an old Popular Mechanics (maybe it is Popular Science) magazine here that has a long article with pictures about American equipment and machines that was sent to Germany to help the Germans rebuild after World War Two.
