Default Does NTS still exist in a form I would recognize?

on the great fire of Fri, 29 Jan 2016 23:33:02 -0500, robindamask jumped
from the flames, screaming:

Something over a decade ago I was active in National Traffic System
nets, b oth phone and CW. I got a lot of satisfaction especially from
the CW nets,
at the section, region, and area level. But even then, I could see the
sy
stem starting to unravel as the amount of routine traffic dropped to
almost
nothing. There were starting to be section nets that were not
represented
at the region level, and the overall activity level was declining.

Then life got in the way, and I've been off the air since about 2005.
What
would I find if I got back on HF now and looked for the nets that I
used t
o so much enjoy? Does the NTS that I knew a decade ago still exist?
I've l ooked for current information, and the impression that I get is
that what's
left is all digital.

CW never died, in fact SKCC (Straight Key Century Club) just finished
their month-long January event (of which I am one of their operators),
our numbers are always growing, currently 15,000+ members, and we have
plenty of awards and special events.

As for the NTS, I never followed them but from what I understand, the ARRL
cut ties with them during the prepper fad, but they're still around on
their own.
