ICOM 756 PRO display issue

I came across an interesting problem on an Icom 756PRO. The issue is with
a control board. The board works perfectly but the display is monochrome,
specifically green letters on a black background only. This condition
exists regardless of the display option settings. This is strictly a
control board issue as with another control board installed in the radio
the display is fine. Any Icom experts out there that have ideas?
