Tan Son Nhut, 1964. The Army sent a guy from Okinawa to erect some tarps over the ammo we had sitting on wooden decks. I was the dude driving/operating one of the fork lifts to raise that guy up, he was standing on a pallet I was raising up. I haden't ever operated a fork lift before. All it takes is a light slow touch on the lever. I will never forget the look on his face.. Whoaaaa dude, not so fast!!!!
