Good riddance to bad rubbish. :-D
Maybe Paul Ryan will shepherd the "TRUMP"eachment through the House. We can hope.
It's been a rough couple of years for Ryan. Remember when he was a vocal Never "TRUMP"er? He thought he'd get the Republican Party for himself after The Magnificent "TRUMP" lost the election.
Ryan grossly misjudged the Republican base, especially after "TRUMP". Ryan wanted a harsh Ayn Rand-ish system which really had little appeal outside the upper 1% while the "TRUMP"ian base is essentially a distrustful buncha lunatics.
Other well-known Republicans have said "**** it!":
John A. Boehner, the former Republican speaker of the House who once said he was “unalterably opposed” to decriminalizing marijuana laws, has joined a board of directors for a cannabis company with an eye on rolling back federal regulations.
