A most excellent week, except I was in China and couldn’t get in front of a
radio. Couldn’t even get BBC news or sport so no cricket commentary. Funny
because Sky News was ok. This website, SARN (Southgate Amateur Radio News),
was OK on a laptop but not available on a smart phone. Why?

Highland Park, will surrender his Amateur Extra-class license and pay a
$7,500 civil penalty as part of a Consent Decree with the FCC to settle an
enforcement action

Montana to get new Section Manager

Paul Stiles, KF7SOJ, will become ARRL Montana Section Manager on October 1.
Stiles, of Billings, was the only candidate after nominations for the
position were re-solicited this Spring, and will serve an 18-month term

ARISS school contact planned for Claygate, United Kingdom

The event is planned today June 20, 2019. It is scheduled to begin at
approximately 12.48 UTC, which is 13.48 BST and 14:48 CEST. The contact
will be a direct between NA1SS and GB4RPS. The downlink signals will be
audible in parts of Europe on 145.800 MHz
