WRC-19 has approved an allocation in the 50 MHz band for amateurs in Region
1 at its morning plenary in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on Thursday 21 November
2019. The decision comes after more than three weeks of strenuous

David (Dave) Simmonds, G3JKB, FOC 1950, passed away on November 7th 2019
after his health had deteriorated over the past year. He and Jacquie had
recently moved from Woodhall Spa Lincolnshire to Chipping Sodbury (near
Bristol) to be close to their family. The funeral will be held on Tuesday
