Id notice on one of the FlexRadio orientated reflectors that a ham I know
was struggling getting a Flex-6000 up and going in his shack. Reflectors
being what they are, nobody had asked him to spell out the problem and what
his situation was. So I called my buddy up emailed him, offering to []





I have seen in one transceiver of another brand that states to do a
total reset before operating as there may be some settings left over
from factory testing.

That is the first thing I do on any piece of computer/microprocessor
equipmnet. I even did that where I worked unless the equipment came in
already programmed for a specific job.
