Actually, Scotty was sending the Morse "stand back" while Kirk, Spock,
and McCoy "decoded" it from inside the brig. Then the wall blew in and
Scotty was standing there saying in his trademark brogue, "Well? What
are you all just standing around for? Do you not know a jailbreak when
you see one?"
