The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau has begun targeting property owners that
knowingly tolerate pirate radio operators on their properties. The
Commission was given new authority under the PIRATE Act. Property owners
allowing pirates to broadcast are now liable for fines of up to $2 million.

Beasley Media Group Philadelphia’s Country station, 92.5 XTU, raised
$253,460 during the station’s annual St. Jude’s Radiothon. Personalities
broadcasted live for 13 hours to raise awareness for childhood cancer
research and Keith Urban, Dan + Shay, Darius Rucker and Kelsea Ballerini
called into the station.

Reporter Steve Alexander will assume responsibilities from WGN agribusiness
broadcaster Orion Samuelson beginning in January. Samuelson retires on
December 31 after marking more than 60 years with the station.

Jr. Show for the past five years, joins the on-air line up as midday host
at WPZE-FM. The move comes as KD Bowe announced his departure to pursue
