BTW SSB is probably 30 or 40 years old.
SSB first showed up in the ham bands in 1934. AT&T had SSB running
around ten years before hams did. Next year will mark the 70th
anniversary of ham SSB. Gawd I love these "new, modern modes" like SSB
which make Morse such an artifact mode . . .
