Nobody in here seems to understand that independent periodicals
make their living almost ENTIRELY from sales of advertising space.
Fact of publishing life for nearly every "popular" or newsstand
sold periodical.
Sure we do, Lennie.
And we understand that advertisers tend to not spend their
advertising dollars in periodicals that they deem poor returns on
thier investment.
Your former "employer" would be of prime example.
Advertising is not free.
Whoa...THAT was meaningful.
The "knowledgeable" in here no little else but chatty gossip stories
as to the "reasons" for a magazine demise.
"...no litle else..."
A TYPO! A TYPO! LENNIE'S MAD! LENNIE'S MAD!
I AM reasonably "knowledgeable", Lennie, and I "no"
this...Your previous employer is defunct..Kaput...out-of-business.
They are out of business because they could not continue to offer a
product that warranted the expenditure of those advertiser's dollars
because they tried to pander to a very narrow market.
Oh well. As good as the magazine may or may not have been, it's
out of business today.
