Hi....Im new to ham Radio and have an all-band discone on my roof that
I use for my scanner. I also will use this antenna to transmit with my ham radio. So far, it works OK for the transmissions. Lead in line is 50ft of LMR-400 with 'N' connectors. My question is, Can I split the line for 2 locations? I like to listen to my scanner in my back yard and transmit with the Radio but I also would like to have a line indoors when the weather isnt great. Can I add a splitter and run a new line indoors ? Or, should I have a dedicated line to run inside? Thank You for any responses....Mike |
