Hey man, thanks for the great idea!

I can hook ladder line to my cattle prod and clear out a whole row of

You know, sometimes you're a smart little ****-ant. Not often, but
sometimes. How's your CW practice coming along?

I like this thinking. Since I have both a 20WPM Extra AND a 2nd Class
Commercial Radiotelegraph, I would expect the no-coders to bring me food
and drink, as well.

Good point, Yes, very good point.

No-coders must go to the end of the line for refreshments at meetings.
Code hams must be served first and should take more treats than they want
and need. When all the code hams are served and there is nothing left,
no-codes get the left-over Coffee grounds and Cookie crumbs. This will
teach no-codes that by working harder to be better hams, they will not
only get more radio spectrum, they'll also get treats at club meetings and
won't have to sit on the floor with an empty stomach.

No-codes can still dig their treats out of garbage cans and toilet bowls
if they wish, but they'll have to share them with any CB'ers that might
also be at the meeting.

You are just SOOOOO jealous that I got MY license WITHOUT having to
learn how to beat on a railroad track with a rock. That's where it
came from ya know. . . A 12 year old kid communicating with his
buddies by smacking a railroad track with a lousy rock. Then to
imagine you grown up sorts make so much to-do about it two hundred
years later! Gees buddy, let it die! And "NO' you are not cute,
clever or noble, by trying to defend it, or by being insultive in the
process.

Other than "Going to Church on Sunday", can you tell me just one
single thing that you insist upon so strongly we do nowadays, that
people did two hundred years ago? Something that you insist upon as
much you do with your affliction of having to learn something which
one will NEVER use? Or is it just your thrill of getting an ill
achieved erection by making somebody do something they don't care for,
just to get something else entirely different that what they want? You
sick pup! You should be ashamed of yourself!

(And no "73s To You" for that childish outburst!)

Not better hams ... just slo-o-o-wer hams! Morse is the most inefficient
means of communication we have. A kid can burp-speak the alphabet faster
than you can send it in Morse.

The government, long a believer in subsidizing the most worthless schemes in
the world, abandoned Morse totally about ten years ago. With the exception
of a few folks who eavesdrop on primitives in the third world, nobody I know
does Morse for money any more.

There's is absolutely no nobility in Morse Code. IT'S YOUR FRICKIN' TOY!
It's Tickle Me Elmo with a 40-foot pole up his ass! Here's what you do:
Leave the library, buy a computer of your own, find a kid to teach you how
to use it and get on HF the _right_ way.

Besides, you have the wrong initials for deciding which flowers to plant in
Radioland. A certain F.C.C. does that job -- exclusively.

Do any of you no-code lids remember the demonstration on Late night TV
when a couple of CW ops demonstrated and proved CW is MUCH faster than
"text messaging?" Yeah, it';s slow if you are a 5 WPM lid that has no
pride in themselves, but for REAL Hams it is efficient, and fast.

They don't like to be reminded about that contest. It shows the
difference between skilled and un-skilled. It also gets back to that
liberal political correctness thing. Everyone has to be equal, since not
everyone is good enough to rise to the top, they got to drag the top down.

I just looked up "lid" - a poor operator, one who does not follow proper
procedures or sends sloppy Morse code. (Not me on either count. It's a
silly insult to throw around when you don't know somebody.)

Moderator, can we rename this thread? I think "Mode Rage" sounds right.

(If it keeps going, I can claim that you're not real hams if you don't do
Amateur TV at 1.2 GHz. Then what?)
