Some times, when pressed, the government just goes too far. This is one. the "Key" should retain a special place. Again I say it should not be allowed to "Rule All", but it should have its very own, very special band width souly reserved to it. |

![]() "Pete" wrote in message ... Hi All, The 30M band is also a phone band during daylight hours in the Southern Hemisphere. Still not much traffic though! Glad to see the US finally did the right thing with regard to CW. 73 from South Africa. The 30M band is too narrow to support much SSB usage and is therefore not very suitable for that mode. It is much more suitable for narrow modes such as CW and psk31. Thank you for your patronizing comment about the USA finally doing the right thing by ending morse code. May I return your sentiment by observing that I am "glad" that South Africa finally did the right thing when you recently ended Apartheid (about 250 years after the US ended slavery). |

Your comparison is totally stupid and most certainly hypocritical when one looks at the lot of most non-white races in the USA. Not that it's a lot better in the UK but then I'm not making stupid comparisons. PLONK -- www.wymsey.co.uk |

America didn't stop slavery 250 years ago it still goes on.
There are a lot of places where people are held captive to produce money for their owners. Americans will always buy from China regardless of what is going on. Greed is what rulers America today and if you don't like it you are either with us or against us......go to middle east and we will deal with you there. Bring them on as our President would say As far as apartheid is concerned we still have it in the U.S. there are millions and millions of mexicans who regularly point out that the U.S. is racist can 20.000,000 people be wrong? All because they are a different color to the whites so don't preach to South Africa before you clean your own back room. Art tefan Wolfe wrote: "Pete" wrote in message ...
