Default Better use of electric supply lines

How can ham radio justify holding on to valuable frequencies when
comunities
can put them to good use?

Listen to the bands now, nobody is using them yet we are denying
services required by people outside of the metropolis. We have the
internet now and hams have moved to it, as with this newsgroup. There
is no good reason for us to deny the FCC putting it to better use for
the Country
