Thank you to all of you for all the suggestions. I think I'll try the 900MHz
Yagi directly attached to the phone's antenna port. In any case, when I'm
visiting my mother, having the cell phone attached to a coax is not such a
big deal. I just hope to get a few bars more on the field meter.
