A "mmana-gal" is a person of the female persuasion who uses Close to right on all points, except "MMANA-GAL", she is a lean, mean, designing machine built by hams for hams: http://mmhamsoft.amateur-radio.ca/fi...L-1.2.0.20.exe Regards, JS |

so no one knows what MMANA-GAL means?
this is a weird group. Optimizations allow you to control certain variables. But the MMANA-GAL optimization does not allow you to maximize gain for a particular elevation angle. In point-to-point work this would be very useful, as you want to pick the angle that has the least number of reflections from the ionosphere and ground along the path (you lose about 10db per hop). -- Dave Oldridge+ ICQ 1800667 |

Hi Dave, Is this the advice we should offer everyone? What purpose would the group have over such an abundance of information? 73's Richard Clark, KB7QHC |
