Can make them out of nearly anything non conductive. I've made many of
them from strips of thick printed circuit board material. Peel off the
copper on each side, drill a hole on the middle for a so-239. Drill a
smaller hole in each end to attach the wires. Bingo. Cheapy insulator.
Many people convert long egg insulators to make those. MK
