That's just going to make it more attractive to kids who will be
hanging around throwing rocks at it and climbing up to poke it
with sticks.

Besides some sheet metal on the sides of the tower to discourage any
adventurous
climbers (even though my backyard is fully fenced since I also have a pool),
I have
signs on the tower warning that it should not be climbed, and another that
it is an
electrical shock hazard. No problems in 18 years.
