Amateur Radio and its' importance just stands as a pale ghost in
comparison to the dramatic figures in this play ... the amateur community were warned--long ago; few paid attention--now it is too late. ============================== Considering the efforts made and attention paid by ARRL on behalf of all radio amateurs in the USA to stop BPL , the above seems rather off the mark . In the end BPL will not come to fruition whatever the 'pushing' by FCC and Commercial Powers , also because it will highly likely not be commercially viable. Frank GM0CSZ / KN6WH |

Frank GM0CSZ / KN6WH I am afraid you missed the whole point, did you just "come on board?" The surest way to implement the downfall of BPL would be to see the success of 700Mhz "freedom zone." Then, BPL would pale in comparison to a method that can penetrate virtually any building and you can use while you walk down the street ... Unfortunately, the mindset you have is shared by many, too many; unable to see the forest through the trees--you attempt to be the tail which wags the dog; while that may, or may not, work for high powers in high places--I believe such is doomed to failure--indeed, isn't that how we got here?
