Where is a reasonable source for a small number of 2.4 inch #31 toroids?
Various catalogs list #43 in this size, but I cannot find #31. The 160/80m choke described in K9YC's paper sounds good. I expect getting 7 turns of RG213 or "buryflex" through these toroids might be an interesting exercise. Bill - W2WO |

Thank you. I did not see it in their listings, but I will now assume they
have these toroids. Bill W2WO "Danny Richardson" wrote in message ... On Thu, 23 Aug 2007 20:36:13 -0400, "Bill Ogden" wrote: Where is a reasonable source for a small number of 2.4 inch #31 toroids? The Fair-Rite link will take you to #31 material. http://www.fair-rite.com/ But Fair-Rite doesn't sell direct.. you need to order from a distributor, and many have minimum orders. Lodestone Pacific (I think) has a $20-30 minimum order, but you'd better have the exact Fair-Rite partnumber.. |
