I've tried to model some OWA Yagis using MiniNEC or NEC-2 interfaces, like Eznec and 4NEC2 (a friend used also AO and YO), but the results are disappointing, especially regarding the impedance, which is one of the most important result for OWA. Even entering real antennas, like the NW3Z 6 elements OWA yagis, the results are not correct... For this and other reasons, I'm thinking about buying NEC-4 engine from LLNL and I would to know if this software is copy protected with some hardware dongle or software key or not. I read the licensing documents and it seems that there is no copy protection supplied, is it true? 73 and thanks Guido, ik2bcp Guido If you can't make them work then I would forget about computor programs. They obviously are not your cup of tea despite how many people use them with success. You would be better off finding out what you are doing wrong than sending money at the problem. Art Art |
