only have to consider that if this "logic" were applied to the actual
equation (again, from you):
Ptotal = P1 + P2 + 2*SQRT(P1*P2)cos(A)
= (50 - 0) + (50 - 0) - 2SQRT P1*P2 sine(A)
That all terms would be rendered 0. After all, the two leading terms
are constants too.
