Default Stealth antenna idea

I haven't been monitoring the group for a while. *Wondering if

anyone
has considered two screwdriver type antennas mounted horizontal in

a
dipole fashion in the attic and appropriate control to acheive a
tuneable attic dipole. *stealth in CCR is the motivation.

* *Sounds like it would work, to me, *but if it were me I would use

wire
instead. *You can probably place wire more effectively in your attic

and

just use an SGC antenna coupler to tune it at the feedpoint. *Would
probably not only work better, but would be cheaper, too.

Hoo booooey, here we go again....

??? Have I missed something?
