If you had a situation where your space is limited adn a
vertical seems to be the last option, do you have any other way you would go? I do have limited space. I use an attic antenna consisting of 100' zig-zag doublet fed with 450 ohm ladder line and a homebrew tuner. I have ran 1200 watts pep on 80m and 40m with this antenna. Of course no one can watch TV or talk on the phone, or do anything else that involves electronics in the house while I am on the air. I have a small 20' X 56' back yard. I have used a zig-zag doublet inverted vee style with apex at 40' and had pretty good results on 80m-10m. I 73 Gary N4AST |
