Default Automatic tuner range

i'd suggest contacting the manufacture and describe your situation
and ask what the range is

I saw a LDG tuner i was looking at had a 10:1 the ones in my
rigs claim up to 3:1

Internal tuners are limited by size.
My LDG and MFJ 949 do have much greater range than my internal tuner.

I consider the internal tuners to be a convenience for use on fairly well
matched antennas. Many serious multiband antennas requiring a tuner
benefit from a remote tuner to keep coax losses at bay and disable the
internal tuner. I built the LDG 11 kit (no longer available) into an ammo
can for automatic remote tuning. I hear the price on the current production
remote box is still decent.

Even great big wide range manual tuners can get stumped by impossible
matches. Those that seem to be able to, risk arcing or burning components.
