Default Is there a sort of G5RV dipole......

Thank you Cecil ! In other words, your matching unit with the switchable
line segments and with the variable capacitor will do the job. Right ?

Yes, it will *theoretically* do the job. But remember
it must be attached to the feedline at a point 12 feet
from the antenna feedpoint. That probably limits the
device to a relay-driven, waterproof box ~30 feet in
the air. It can be done but there may be a better way.

With my notuner dipole, the ladder-line length selector
can be located at the operating position.

With a G5RV, the ladder-line length selector must be
located 12 feet from the antenna feedpoint.
