Use 6-meter extension on Icom IC-T90A on 2 meters and 70 CM?

Hi all,

I have the IC-T90A tri-band 6m/2m/70cm HT. Can anyone tell me whether
or not it is safe to use the 6m antenna extension on the higher
frequencies or whether I really do need to change to the smaller
extension when operating on those higher frequencies?
