Well, the FW dipole may not have had all the advantages I thought it did - but it worked well enough that I stopped bothering with the 2-element wire beam on 40m for the contests. It's a bit like fishing - if you believe in your equipment you will usually do better than if you don't. HI It's not a bad antenna and I didn't mean to knock it.
