The bride had heard of the groom's 1/4-wave driven element and was anxious to
see how it stood up in the wind.

Dissapointingly, it turned out to be a shorted stub!

Maybe he was a beverage antenna, and the bride only found out about
this after the wedding...

On the other hand, maybe he had cardiod problems...
