Default A3S with 40 meter add on kit

Does the 40 meter addition change the 20 meter reflector beam to the center beam and the reflector
beam to 15 meters?

I am assuming the A3S by itself works as the shortest beam is 10 meters the 15 meter beam is the
middle and the 20 meter as the longest?

TIA

The Cushcraft A3S beam has 3 elements. The driven element is setup to
be used as a rotatable dipole on 40 meters. It works a lot better than
it sounds.

The spacing of the elements on the boom does not change.

Thanks.

Between the Rotor and the A3s/ and the Dipole getting it up to 40ft should be a real pain.

It is about the same size & weight as other multiband beams. The 40 M
add on seems pretty expensive but I do use it a lot.

Also, Mine is mounteds on a tilt-over, crank up from the late 1970's.
Two electric winches, no sweat for an old man.

Also, there is a Homebrew tilt mechanism...

You can check it out at
http://dixienc.us/TiltOverGadget/TiltOverGadget.htm

I have also found it useful on WARC bands simply by using a tuner.
