I have new in the box Antenna Specialists MON-4 ground plane for scanning 30 - 50 MHz. It seems to be just a hunk of metal, no coils, etc. Any reason why I shouldn't cut it for use with my 6 meter rig? Can't find any details on their web site. It has to be 1970's vintage 1//4 wave ground plane. Got it from my father in law years ago. He was a volunteer fireman Steve -- Remove "zz" from e-mail address to direct reply. |
