[quote=Viergetty;774611]Principled records and overview
I had my LDG AT600Pro auto tuner since mid Dec. last year. Got it to go with my FT-450AT, and my Ameritron ALS-600 amp. I must say, that having had LDG tuners in the past, and knowing they make a great product, I had no qualms about purchasing one of these tuners.
While the tuner is a bit noisy when it is in tune mode, it has never failed to give me the best match on any of my antennas. Most of my antennas are resonate, so I don't really need it as a tuner, but mostly as an antenna switch. However I do have a 102' G5RV that I use from time to time, and my GAP Challenger, which I only use to tune on 17 meters.
I have recommended this tuner to others in our local club, telling them of its attributes, and how noisy it is when tuning. But, I got to give credit where credit is due. I have had other auto tuners...while they d a good job for what I needed, it just didn't do what I wanted. The other tuners where noisy as well.
All in all, my LDG AT-600Pro is a great tuner. Low profile, easy to set up and use, it didn't take any time at all once out of the box to get it set up and using it. This is without a doubt the best auto tuner that has ever been on my desk. A great tuner at a great price, it works, and works well.
