Default surely must be someone??

Surely there must be a Ham somewhere using a Commerical Triband/Quad band HT
SMA terminated antenna ?
I was after one, but would like to know first hand which model has been thru
the Ham test sequence

I tried a couple on my Yaesu VX-5. Didn't do any really definitive testing
but subjective ability to access repeaters or other Hams in this rural area
wasn't noticably improved - at least not enough to warrant the bother, so
I'm back to the stock antenna. Naturally, others may find the opposite, but
I'd say "Save your money".

Tnxs Vito, it's hard, if you just run off and spend the cash on a dud ,
without asking first you have no one to blame haahha,
yes well I had a Comet dualband HT antenna i used on my vx-5r some years
back and it was magic, but has since been discontinued... it is confusing
and reviews arn't always the best way to go, talking to the USER is the only
way to get a decent idea on the gadget,
I appreciate the reply, not many bother now days
