An alternative might be to answer other unanswered posts. I asked one, not
very interesting to people who know these things perhaps, but it is to me...
It's about a fortnight old now, it was about the magnetic loop entenna, a
nice design shown to me, but one that leaves me wondering whether the open
cylindrical spiral form is giving some specific advantage that I'd lose if
I built one with the winding flattened into a circle for more enduring
portability... It's off-topic for this thread, but it might give someone a
way out.
