Is it worth it though... :| I have no problems with his silly
ideas about antennas and such, but he needs to leave the whiny
off topic crap over on the UK sites where it belongs.

I think that your complaint is with those who have introduced the
unwelcome arrival of abusive personal remarks, and not with those
of us who speak out against it, and in support of decent, adult,
civilised behaviour. (Something I recommend to you yourself in the
light of your tendentious remarks above, BTW)

No. You are the one that is constantly cross posting their
crap over to this group. Not them, not me, YOU!!!

When people have attacked me in this NG, and their behaviour
elsewhere shows their attacks to be hypocritical, then it is reasonable
that I cross-post as part of my defence in this NG.

NO!!!! It most certainly is not!

( I note that you never criticise those who attack me, I wonder why?)

Because, I really don't care what they think, and I've got lots of other
things to do. You bring it all on yourself from what I can see.
I'm likely driving up to the dirt patch late tonight for a few days of
fun and mayhem. I'll likely be on 3.870 at night if you feel compelled to
knock the batteries off my shoulders.
Go ahead. Make my day.

How can promotin technical discussion on the one hand, and criticising
infantile outbursts, such as are your, bring anything on?

Listening and taking things on board has never been one of your strong
points, has it?

Once again, it is from the keyboard of Not-Ham Hull G7KUJ that the
gratuitous abuse originates.

Readers of rraa may like to know that G7KUJ had for many years
posted matter that purported to come either from my IP
address or from my email address.

What better sign of obsessive behaviour could there be?

Ignoring the issue of pots and kettles, I will say I sort of agree with
Gareth in that the problem is not really the nonsense that comes out of
his mouth... er keyboard. The problem is the reaction that it stimulates.

I won't try to figure out if Gareth is a troll in the true sense of the
word or if he is just a very strange person who can't seem to
communicate well. The point is that the topics he brings up are well
worth discussing.

So I have to say I am a -1 on the idea of deleting all threads Gareth
starts and certainly I'm not going to kill a thread just because he
posts some sort of nonsense. Rather the problem is responding to him
with personal abuse (even when it would seem to be justified) rather
than just responding to the technical content or just not responding at
all.

If you want to bug anyone, the best way to do it is to continue the
conversation with others as if that person were not here. It would be a
big help to the rest of us here too.

Btw, I have learned a lot from you guys. Being a slow learner
sometimes, the repetition has been very good.

I think these last few posts have proved my point. The problem is that
too many posters can't seem to ignore the posts they don't like.

The posts we don't like have nothing "zero, nada, zip, zilch" to
do with antennas. They are crossposts from UK groups where he has
hecklers. Why he thinks we are interested in his UK hecklers, beats
the crap out of me. ???
I have no issues with his actual antenna posts. Of course, I've
already mentioned all this more than once.

Then your complaint is with the hecklers, but I note that you do not
criticise them when they appear only in this NG, reay being a disgraceful
example; disgraceful because he is a moderator of the Yahoo group RSCBTech.

Had you, and the others, spoken out in criticism of his unnecessary and
untechnical
personal attacks, then the situation of what you complain would not have
arisen
to the extent that it did.

I suspect that what has been happening is covered by the old adage, "My
enemy's
enemy is my friend", from several of you.

They are not the ones cross posting all the heckler threads. YOU ARE!

Why would I want to get involved with your UK hecklers? They aren't
heckling me. I wouldn't even be aware of them, except YOU keep
cross posting the crap over to here, where it doesn't belong.
Which then attracts them over here to further stir the doo-doo pot.

I suspect you are confusing me with someone who gives a crap about you
and your UK social issues. :|

You clearly don't grasp what I am saying. You keep responding to his
crap posts. Even just complaining that his posts are crap is feeding
him and encouraging him to post more.

He replied to this same message I am replying to, then you replied to
his reply, on and on. Can't you see the pattern? It involves you as
much as him.

I'm going to refrain from commenting about this further. At this point
there is nothing I can add to the discussion. All of the points I have
made are very obvious to anyone who wishes to consider them. I am just
part of the problem and I will try to end that.
